Features
A real trading screen. Timeframes from 1 second to daily, up to four charts, trend lines, fibs and long or short tools. Drag stops and targets on the chart, use limit and stop orders, trade with hotkeys.

What is ChartTrainer?
ChartTrainer is a trading simulator that runs in the browser. It replays market sessions candle by candle, so you practice entries, exits and risk without knowing what happens next, and it runs prop firm style evaluations with the rules real firms use. Every trade goes into a journal that shows what to fix.
Which markets can I practice?
Futures: NQ, MNQ, ES, MES, YM, MYM, RTY, M2K, CL, MCL, GC, MGC. Indices: NAS100, US500, US30. Forex and gold: EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, XAUUSD. Crypto: BTCUSD, ETHUSD. Stocks: AAPL, TSLA, NVDA, SPY. Futures and forex follow the 18:00 to 17:00 New York session, crypto trades every day, and stocks trade from 9:30 to 16:00.
Is this real market data?
Practice sessions run on generated data built to move like each real market, with its quiet hours, its opening bursts, fat tails and gaps. Because the days are generated, nobody can look up how a session ends. Charts that use generated data are marked SIM.
Do I need a broker or a funded account?
No. Nothing is traded for real and no money moves. You only need a browser.
Will passing an evaluation here get me funded?
No. ChartTrainer is not a prop firm and is not affiliated with one. Evaluations here are practice, built to feel like the real thing so you are ready when you pay for one.
Can I copy a prop firm's rules?
Yes. An evaluation account takes a profit target, a trailing (end of day or real time) or static max loss, a daily loss limit, a consistency rule, minimum trading days, a max position size and a flatten time. Templates cover futures evaluations, forex, index and crypto challenges, and stock evaluations.
Can I write my own indicators and strategies?
Yes. The script editor runs a large part of Pine Script v5 and v6: ta, math, str and array functions, plots, fills, colors, inputs and strategy orders. Over 100 indicators and strategies are built in to start from, and strategies run in a backtester with a TradingView style report.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The whole app works in a mobile browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
