Free prop firm challenge simulator with the rules prop firms check.
Rehearse the evaluation you're about to buy: the same profit target, drawdown type, daily loss limit and consistency rule. Every rule is checked on every candle, failing costs nothing, and starting again is free.
Futures evaluations, forex, index and crypto challenges and stock evaluations all run on the same rules engine.
Profit target: The balance you need to reach to pass.
Max loss: End of day trailing, real time trailing on the unrealized peak, or static, with where the trailing stops.
Daily loss limit: Stop for the day or fail the account when a day loses too much.
Consistency: Your best day can only be a set share of the total profit.
Minimum trading days: The number of days you must trade before you can pass.
Max position size: The most contracts, lots or shares you may hold.
Flatten time: Positions close on their own at the time you set.
How it works
Copy the rules. Start from a template or type in your firm's numbers: account size, profit target, drawdown type and amount, daily loss limit, consistency, minimum days, max size and flatten time.
Trade one day at a time. Each trading day of the account is one replayed session on the market you pick. The panel shows how far you are from the target and every limit, and a dotted line marks where a loss limit would hit.
See why you passed or failed. The account shows the day and the rule that ended it, and the journal and Progress show the habits behind it. The backtester can estimate a strategy's odds of passing.
Templates for every kind of firm

Questions
Is ChartTrainer a prop firm?
No. ChartTrainer is not a prop firm and is not run by one. Passing here doesn't get you funded or paid. It is where you practice, so you're ready when you pay for the real evaluation.
Which drawdown types can I practice?
End of day trailing, which moves up with your closing balance, real time trailing, which follows your unrealized peak during the day, and static, which never moves. You can also set where the trailing stops, for example at the starting balance.
Can I copy a specific firm's rules?
Yes, as long as you know the numbers. Templates cover common futures evaluations and forex, crypto and stock challenges, and every rule can be edited: profit target, max loss, daily loss limit, consistency, minimum days, max size and flatten time.
What happens when I fail?
The account stops and shows which rule ended it and on which day. Starting a new one costs nothing. The Free plan holds 1 evaluation account at a time and Pro holds 5.
Is the prop firm simulator free?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and needs no card: 3 replay sessions a day, 1 evaluation account, the journal, the daily challenge and battles. Pro ($19 a month) removes the daily session limit.
Is it real market data?
Not yet. Sessions run on generated data built from the statistics of the real market: its quiet and busy hours, opening bursts, gaps and fat tails. Charts that use it are tagged Generated, and real data is coming market by market as the licenses to show it are in place. Because the days are generated, nobody can look up how a session ends.
